6-year girl raped in West Bengal

Howrah, Aug 17 : A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in West Bengal's Howrah district, said police on Saturday.

According to police, the girl was raped by 38-year-old Arun Agarwal on Aug 5 at Nischinda area of Howrah. He reportedly threatened to kill her if she disclosed the incident to anyone.

However, the victim fell ill on Friday and at the hospital told her parents about the incident.

A complaint was lodged at the Nischinda police station and Agarwal was arrested on Saturday.
