Joe Kort told the Huffington Post that the change could be especially difficult for older men to accept.
Kort said that men have been raised to think that the only way to be sexual is through intercourse, so when they can't, their masculinity gets totally devastated.
Kort claimed that for men over 50, sex changes beyond the ability to maintain an erection, and since the erection is their masterpiece, men have a harder time wrapping their minds around different ways to explore their sexuality.
However, if older men are looking to truly improve their sex lives, it's important to think of sex as more than just penetration and if they succeed in the process, they can usher in a new period of sensuality in a relationship, Kort said.
