Chakra Group, a company dealing with property development, on Monday said it is looking to invest in Gujarat.

Partha Chakraborti, CMD of Chakra Group, said: "For the visit of Narendra Modi (Chief Minister of Gujarat) to Kolkata, Chakra Group is pleased to put forward two projects which would generate investment and employment in Gujarat."

The first project is to be a Mineral Water Plant, as the Group is already engaged in manufacturing mineral water processing machines, bottling machines in the sub-continent and specialises in water treatment, effluent treatment and sewage treatment plant.

Chakra Group's Mineral Water Plant will produce potable water, free from impurities and fortified with requisite minerals.

The second project will be a Warehousing and Logistic Project, for which Gujarat has immense potential, since during the last decade there has been significant industrial growth in all major basic and ancillary industries, said the company.

There is a growing demand for warehousing and logistic facilities both for backward integration and to cater with forward linkage facilities, the company said.

Chakra Group has a turnover of Rs. 200 crore.
