Tata DOCOMO launches new post pay plan

Hyderabad, Aug 6 : Cellphone carrier Tata DOCOMO on Tuesday launched a new post pay plan with unlimited benefits for its new CDMA customers.


The new plan "Unlimited 1299 Plan" allows customers to make unlimited local and national calls on any mobile/fixed line network across India along with unlimited roaming benefits while on Tata DOCOMO network and free 3GB data and 3000 messages (local and national).

Post 3GB usage, the additional data will be charged at Rs 0.30/Mb. Once the user exhausts their limit of 3000 messages, charges of Re 1 for local, Rs 1.50 for national and Rs 5 for international message will apply.

While roaming on Tata DOCOMO network is absolutely free, customer roaming on other network will be charged Re 1 per minute for incoming calls (all) and for making outgoing local calls, where as outgoing STD calls will be charged at Rs 1.5 per minute.

Commenting on this product offer, Ramakrishna S, Chief Operating Officer, Andhra Pradesh Circle, Tata DOCOMO said, "The move comes from a strategic intent of making the brand relevant for the high value customers. Tata DOCOMO CDMA in continuance with offering value for money offers and distinct approach has liberated the consumer from the conditions that used to limit an unlimited plan. Therefore, creating a whole new paradigm of unlimited plans that are truly unlimited."
