Honda celebrates Friendship Day
Two wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd (HMSI) on Sunday celebrated Friendship Day with Honda customers by organising the first fun ride in India starting with CBR owners from Kolkata to Burdwan.
Carrying forward the 20 year legacy of its globally successful CBR performance bikes, Honda started the concept of Club CBR in India where customers of Honda's performance motorcycles - CBR 150R and CBR 250R are given platform to experience joy of motorcycling and network with other true biking enthusiasts.
Over 300 CBR owners were part of this celebration, who carried the theme of 'Know The Unknown' with them and were motivated and bonded like a family.
Biking enthusiasts were also treated to exclusive launch of the new 2013 Limited Edition of CBR 250R, the company said in a statement.
"The Repsol color Limited Edition brings the iconic racing feel of Honda Repsol team's MotoGP bike RC 213V to Indian roads. The model incorporates the advanced Combined Anti-lock Braking System - a World first in 250cc motorcycle segment," it said.
The CBR 250R's liquid-cooled 250cc, 4-stroke, 4-valve single-cylinder DOHC engine delivers 19.5Kw (26BHP) power and 22.9 Nm torque.
"The PGM-FI technology (enhances performance and fuel efficiency), aerodynamic style and global design inspired by Honda's iconic CBR 1000RR Fireblade and VFR 1200F make CBR 250R an ideal ride option. With a low seat height, light weight and slim styling, the CBR250R is perfect for a daily commute, quick trips around town or longer weekend trips," the company said.
The 2013 edition of CBR 250R comes in 4 new global colours. This includes Sports Red, Black, Pearl Sunbeam White and a Limited Edition - Repsol color.
