Adarsh report by session end: Ajit

Mumbai, Aug 2 : Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Friday said the report of the Adarsh Commission probing the Adarsh Housing Society scam, will be tabled in both Houses of the state Legislature by the end of the Monsoon Session.


"I was told by the Chief Minister (Prithviraj Chavan) that Adarsh report will be tabled by this session end," Pawar told reporters.

The 30-storey apartment, housing many top level defence officials, was built on a disputed army land at Colaba in Mumbai and it is alleged that the flats meant for the families of the Kargil martyrs were allotted to top defence officials and kins of politicians.
