Punjab: Bus falls into canal, 2 killed

Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab, July 31 : At least two people were killed as a Punjab Roadways bus in which they were travelling fell in a canal at Fatehgarh Sahib district of Punjab on Wednesday, the police said.

The bus which was travelling from New Delhi to Amritsar city.

The mishap occurred at around 2 am.

Rescue operations are currently going on.

The death toll may rise further, said the police.

More than 40 people were travelling in the bus.
