Rupali Basu appointed as AHEI president

Kolkata, July 26 : The Association of Hospitals in Eastern India (AHEI) on Friday announced the appointment of Rupali Basu, Chief Executive Officer, Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals, as its new president.

Basu assumed her position on July 25.

The new Executive Committee now has P.L Mehta as the Vice President, Rupak Barua as the General Secretary and Probir Kr. Bose as the Treasurer.

In this new role Basu will spearhead the committee.

Speaking on the occasion, Basu said "I sincerely hope that AHEI would achieve even greater success. Having comprehended the challenges and opportunities of the healthcare sector, I will be grateful to contribute provide strategic direction to the long-term growth of healthcare sector in India. "
