Global crude oil price of Indian Basket falls

New Delhi, Apr 4 : The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published on Thursday by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went down to USUSD 107.84/barrel (bbl) on Apr 3.

This was lower than the price of USUSD 108.74/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of Apr 2.

In rupee terms also, the crude oil price declined to Rs 5865.42/bbl on Apr 3 as compared to Rs 5907.84/bbl on Apr 2.

This was due to price increase in dollar terms.

Rupee-dollar exchange rate on Apr 3 was Rs 54.39/USUSD against Rs 54.33/USUSD on previous trading day of Apr 2.
