Global crude oil price of Indian Basket falls

New Delhi, July 25 : The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published on Thursday by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas fell to USUSD 105.95/per barrel (bbl) on July 24.

This was lower than the price of USUSD 106.27/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of July 23.

In rupee terms also, the crude oil price went down to Rs 6298.73/bbl on July 24 as compared to Rs 6343.26/bbl on July 23.

This was due to fall in price in dollar terms.

Rupee depreciation wiped out a significant part of the gains.

The rupee dollar exchange rate on July 24 was Rs 59.45/USUSD against Rs 59.69/USUSD on previous trading day of July 23.
