Fashion designers Francesca Miranda and Adriana Santacruz, and fashion house Pink Filosofy, whose guest of honour was Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio, officially opened Colombiamoda.


Ambrosio, known for her work with Victoria's Secret, Dolce and Gabbana, Loewe and Ralph Lauren, introduced the collection Tuesday by Arkitect, featuring the creations of Pink Filosofy, a fashion house run by Colombia's Adriana Arboleda and Johanna Ortiz.

Designer Francesca Miranda, a Salvadoran based in Colombia, presented a collection inspired by pre-Columbian sculptures from the San Agustin archaeological zone.

Colombian designer Adriana Santacruz, for her part, unveiled "Relampago", a collection of 30 pieces made from cotton and sheep's wool that were sewn by hand.
