Pawel Szuflak, a veteran at Škoda Auto has been associated with the Czech automotive company for 16 years. Born in Poland, Szuflak has extensive experience in the global automobile industry.
With his wide ranging expertise and valuable global experience, Szuflak will play a critical role in further strengthening Škoda's position in the Indian market, the company said, adding Szuflak will be responsible for creating and implementing an aggressive strategy for improving the customer service function.
One of the key focus areas for Szuflak will be to drive the new product launch strategy for Škoda in India. He will also be steering the network and marketing functions for the brand in India.
While being responsible for new product launches, Szuflak will drive the sales and after sales performance of existing products in the market.
Szuflak started his career in Marketing with Škoda in Poland in 1997, where he was responsible for preparation and supervision of the company's advertising campaigns. He has been part of the automotive industry for more than 16 years and has been closely associated with the evolution of Škoda in the international market.
He has worked across Europe and China in the past and has an in-depth understanding of the automotive industry.
In his role as Head of Department, International Sales Strategy, Škoda Auto a.s, Szuflak was instrumental in implementation of unique (VW Group) strategy development system. He was also responsible for the successful development and approval for new Škoda Distribution Strategy.
