Australia struggling at 231/8 at stumps

New Delhi, Mar 22 : Australia were 231 for eight in the first innings against at stumps on the fist day of the fourth cricket Test at the Ferozeshah Kotla ground here on Friday.


Peter Siddle and James Pattinson were in the middle on 47 and 11, respectively. Phil Hughes was the main contributor in the top order, scoring 45 runs off 59 balls while Steven Smith made 46.

Ravichandran Ashwin was the best bowler for India on the day, taking four wickets for 40 runs.
