The All India Gems and Jewellery Trade Federation (GJF), is the nodal and the largest single trade body in India representing the over 6,00,000 players comprising of manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, distributers, laboratories, gemmologists, designers and allied services to the Domestic Gems and Jewellery industry.
'Alankarik' showcased exquisite jewellery designs in bridal and fusion wear. Well known and prominent jewellery brands from Mumbai like P and S Jewels exhibited their designs, Sanghi Jewellers from Hyderabad also participated in the event.
Model Sonika Chauhan hosted the event.
'Alankarik' aims to entertaining its audience yet at the same time become a platform for traders in the gems and jewellery trade to source and seek new business oppurtunities.
Speaking on the occasion, Bachhraj Bamalwa, Immediate Past Chairman of All India Gems and Jewellery Trade Federation said, "We are constantly looking for avenues to lend a push to the players in the gems and jewellery industry. This is one such platform that would definitely go a long way towards creating a huge mind share for different industry players."
"GJF has always been at the forefront for taking up critical trade issues. At the same time, it has been our most sincere wish and endeavour to ensure that the industry grows 360 degree. Since this industry is a top revenue earner for the government, such events would surely lend the right kind of fillip to it," he added.
