Bajaj launches KTM 390 Duke

Kolkata, July 18 : Bajaj Auto Limited on Thursday launched the KTM 390 Duke, the second KTM offering in the Indian market from the Bajaj - KTM partnership, here.

The KTM 390 Duke sports 43.5 ps of power, 35 NM of torque, agile handling and a host of premium features like ABS, Metzler tyres, aluminium swing arm, aluminium alloy wheels and many more making it more powerful bike ideal for both racing as also city and highway rides.

At 373.2 CC the 390 Duke would also be the first midsize sports bike in the country.

Bajaj noted that the bike will be sold and serviced exclusively through 71 exclusive KTM showrooms and service centers.

Amit Nandi, Vice President, Bajaj Pro biking said, "With its powerful engine, light weight and easy handling the 390 Duke will be equally rewarding both for the professional rider as well as the enthusiast."

Nandi added, "KTM is a sharply differentiated brand which in a short span of time is the largest selling premium motorcycle brand in India. This position would be further strengthened with the launch of the 390 Duke."

KTM 390 Duke has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 1, 80,000.
