IFFLA to honour Guneet Monga with award

New Delhi, March 22 : The Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) will confer the sixth Annual Industry Leadership award on Indian producer Guneet Monga, who has thanked her entire team for lending her support.

The award is meant to honour entertainment industry professionals, US and India-based, who have had a significant impact on the entertainment industry.

Monga, the CEO of Anurag Kashyap Films Pvt. Ltd. and Sikhya Entertainment, says she is honoured and grateful.

"I sincerely thank the entire team of IFFLA for this. I see this as a new milestone and hope to continue doing my best. I would also thank my entire team and specially Anurag (Kashyap) for being my rock and support system, always making a strong foundation and carving a path of constant growth," Monga said in a statement.

The award will be presented at an event April 11 at the House of Blues in West Hollywood.

In addition to being conferred with this honour, the two-part "Gangs of Wasseypur" by Anurag Kashyap and "Peddlers", directed by Vasan Bala and produced by Guneet Monga, will also be screened at the festival.
