Amit Sadh to play charity soccer match

Mumbai, Apr 3 : Actor Amit Sadh, who received audience applause for his role in Kai Po Che, is all geared up to play with the All Star Football Club for a charity exhibition match.

It's a first celebrity football club with likeminded icons from the cricket and film fraternity.

Amit Sadh is quiet excited about being part of the team and has been practicing rigorously with fellow teammates Abhishek Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor.

Being a big fan of football, he takes out time for the sport and fits it into his busy schedule.

Amit said, "I was very good at soccer. However for the past 15 years I have been unable to play due to my acting pursuits." Further he added, "I want to give my best.

"I studied at La Martiniere boarding school in Lucknow. It is known to produce football players. I used to play the game during my school days."
