2014: Modi eyes two Lok Sabha seats

New Delhi, July 11 : Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is likely to contest from two Lok Sabha seats in the 2014 General Elections, said reports on Thursday.

According to party sources, Modi, who has been appointed the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP's) election campaign committee head, will be contesting from Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.

Meanwhile, BJP's ideological patron Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has reportedly supported Modi's candidature from Uttar Pradesh.

Modi has already begun his 2014 poll campaign.

On July 6, he addressed round 1,500 party leaders and workers in Bihar via teleconference.

BJP patriarch LK Advani last month submitted his resignation after Modi's appointment as chief of the party's election campaign committee against his wishes.
