Karan to recreate Salman's magic

Mumbai, July 1 : Looks like television's heartthrob Karan Singh Grover (popularly known as KSG) finally got one of his wishes fulfilled.

He got to impersonate his favorite actor Salman Khan in Zee TV's serial Qubool Hai.

Salman's iconic portrayal of lovelorn Sameer in 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' was replicated by KSG for a high point in Qubool Hai through the song 'tadap tadap ke..'.

The crew flew down to the parched lands around Pushkar to get the right look and feel for the song.

Karan looked very handsome in a black pathan suit.

When asked about his shoot experience and recreating the magic of Salman on small screen, the handsome hunk said, "Apart from Mr. Bachchan, I'm a crazy fan of Salman Khan and I'm happy that I got a chance to recreate tadap tadap ke for my viewers on television. It was like dream come true!"

"But at the same time, I must say it was a very difficult shoot. It took a toll on us. It was dry, the sun was blinding and the heat was unbearable and on top of that we had to emote the sorrow of separation in this particular sequence. Most of us suffered heat strokes during the schedule. I hope the viewers like and appreciate our efforts."

Said producer Gul Khan, "Both Karan and Surbhi have done a fabulous job of enacting this song. No amount of heat deterred them from giving us the perfect shots. Since the song was centered on Karan's character (Asad), he had a very intense role to play in this particular sequence.

"He was continuously listening to the song (tadap tadap ke) on his i-pod just to get his expressions right. Hats off to his determination and perseverance. I'm sure his drooly bloodshot eyes and tears of anguish will surely win him many more fans. "
