SIB felicitates Poetess Sugathakumari

Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 21 : Malayalam poetess Sugathakumari, who received the Saraswathi Samman, was felicitated by the officials of South Indian Bank (SIB) at her residence, here today.

She has been selected for the prestigious Saraswati Samman-2012 for her poetry collection 'Manalezhuthu.'

SIB DGM (Trivandrum Region) Reddy N J, AGM Corporate Branch Nandakumar G, Asst Manager Jithin Varghese, and Senior Manager Ms Mercy Thanikkal attended the event.

The Poetess was yesterday honoured by Chief Minister Oommen
Chandy and Minister for Culture K C Joseph at their offices in the Legislative Assembly.
