Fire engulfs cardboard factory in Kanpur, one injured

Kanpur, Mar 28 : A raging fire engulfed a cardboard factory in Kanpur, injuring one worker and causing extensive loss of property on Thursday.

Workers who escaped from the accident site said that fire tenders had reached the spot and were trying to douse the flames.

"There was a massive fire at the cardboard factory. Five to six fire tenders have reached the spot and are still attempting to douse fire and prevent it from spreading, said Guddu Kumar, a factory worker.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
