Justin Timberlake tops Billboard Charts in the US after the sales figure of his comeback album "The 20/20 Experience" reached the 968,000-mark.

It gave him the 16th best-selling debut week album since SoundScan started keeping tabs on the Billboards back in 1991, reports contactmusic.com.

This adds to the recent news that he topped Britain's album charts with his fastest-ever-selling record over there too, with 106,000 copies to beat down David Bowie on his own comeback into second place.

Timberlake wasn't quite able to follow Taylor Swift's Red as the 19th record to cross the million selling mark, which she achieved last Autumn, but it was still a fine return from a performer who hasn't put out an album since 2006 release "Future Sex/Love Sounds".
