French President calls Manmohan Singh, regrets death of Indians in Bangui firing

New Delhi, Mar. 26 : French President Francois Hollande called Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh this morning to convey his regret and condolences at the incident yesterday in which two Indians were killed in firing by French forces in Bangui, Central African Republic.

During the conversation, Hollande said that France was committed to a thorough investigation and sharing the results.

He also assured best possible treatment to the injured.
