Nikon India has announced the launch of its aesthetic COOLPIX Spring Series 2013.

"Nikon COOLPIX cameras integrate sophisticated automatic features, making digital photography more accessible to consumers and enabling anyone to take stunning pictures," the company said in a statement.

"From High Definition video recording to automatic capture of brilliant images, the latest array of cameras come in exciting colors and hues. The COOLPIX collection promises to complement the diverse shooting needs of every photography enthusiast, hobbyist or an amateur. The launch included 17 new models with 69 color variants," it said.

Amongst the 17 new models, a few cameras that have gained much attention are as follows:

The COOLPIX A offers the image quality of a D-SLR and the portability of a compact camera. COOLPIX A is the first COOLPIX compact digital camera to be equipped with a DX-format CMOS sensor.
