Mahesh Kumar takes over as Member Staff Railway Board

New Delhi, May 2 : Ministry of Railways on Thursday said Mahesh Kumar has taken over as Member (Staff) Railway Board and ex officio Secretary to the Government of India.

Prior to this posting, Kumar was General Manager, Western Railway (WR) (Headquarter: Churchgate,Mumbai).

Kumar graduated in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 1975 from University of Roorkee (now IIT Roorkee).

He belongs to the 1975 batch of Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineers (IRSSE).
