Pakistan Army behind forced disappearances in Balochistan
Islamabad, Mar. 21 : Six Pakistan army officers have been accused of being involved in the abduction of missing persons in Balochistan.
The allegation was made by DIG Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Balochistan, Feroze Shah, who submitted a report on missing persons before a three-member bench in the Supreme Court, which was hearing Balochistan law and order case, reports the Daily Times.
According to the report, 10 military personnel are accused of abducting the missing persons.
The report said that following the statements of 12 persons after they returned home, the Balochistan police asked the Frontier Corps to trace the whereabouts of the accused army men including two Lt colonels, six majors and two subedars.
The report further states that the FC personnel assured that they would extend full cooperation for the completion of investigation and the recovery of the missing persons.
