U2 perform 'surprise gig' at Sean Penn's 'Help Haiti Home' Benefit Gala

Washington, January 13 : U2 finally reunited on stage to play a three song set at Sean Penn's Help Haiti Home benefit gala.


The surprise gig, which was held in Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills, saw the band performing its earlier hits like 'I Will Follow' and 'Desire' and 2004's 'Vertigo' live.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, many A-List celebs were present at the concert, including Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband Chris Martin, Julia Roberts and Danny Moder, Kevin Bacon and Michael Douglas.
