$100M helicopter crash lawsuit against Elle Macpherson's hubby refiled

New York, Jan. 13 : The 10 million dollars wrongful death law suit against Elle Macpherson's husband Jeffrey Soffer has been refiled after it was withdrawn by the widow of a man killed in a helicopter crash.

The widow of Lance Valdez, who lost his life in the accident in the Bahamas in 2012, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Soffer in December, accusing the millionaire of flying the helicopter without a license and later persuading pilot David Pearce to say he was at the controls, the New York Post reported.

Earlier this month the wife of late Valdez withdrew the claim over jurisdiction issues, but has now refilled an amended suit in a Miami, Florida court.

In the legal papers, she reiterates her claim that Soffer was flying the helicopter at the time of the crash, and he was responsible for the crash that killed her husband.
