Reddy said, "With Apollo completing 20 glorious years in cancer care, the creation of an international forum such as this, marks the beginning of a new journey towards transcending borders in the common battle against cancer."

A greater thrust at the conclave will be on integration of cutting edge science with emerging advances in technology such as - Proton Beam Therapy, Robotic surgery and novel therapies.

Spread across three days, the conference will address concern areas and treatment breakthroughs across all the major cancers, including the Head & Neck, Gastrointestinal, Breast, Lung, Genitourinary, Hematological malignancies, Bone Tumor, Onco-Radiology & Onco-Pathology, the officials asserted.

Preetha Reddy, Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals said, "A new horizon for cancer care demands a concerted effort from every stakeholder, the strong support of legislation, the commitment of the entire medical fraternity in encouraging early detection and above all a promise from every adult to embrace a healthier lifestyle as almost as much as 43% of all cancers can be prevented by just being conscious, and living a life of moderation."
