"The allegations are false and totally incorrect. I am getting to know only from you that such an affidavit has been sent by her. Please don't publish it as it may have serious consequences," Justice Kumar was quoted as saying to The Indian Express.
He said the woman did not intern with him.
"She didn't intern with me. At least, I don't even remember if she was my intern. We have so many interns," he told the newspaper.
After Justice AK Ganguly row, another young woman lawyer and former student of West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata, has complained to Chief Justice of India Justice P Sathasivam alleging sexually harassment by Justice Kumar, media reports said on Friday.
According to The Indian Express, the woman sent her detailed complaint to the Chief Justice of India last month.
However, the apex court told her that there was little the Chief Justice of India could do and that she could take appropriate action under law.
The complainant might file a petition seeking action against the former judge.
"In her complaint, the woman is learnt to have narrated two instances of how she was allegedly sexually assaulted by the former judge. Sources said that "strongly disturbed and upset" with the behaviour of the judge, the woman left the internship mid-way," The Indian Express reported.
"She is learnt to have talked to her close friends and family about the incident. Sources said she decided to bring the alleged incident to the Chief Justice of India's notice after the swift response of the apex court to the allegations against Ganguly," said the newspaper.
Faced by similar allegations, former Supreme Court judge Justice AK Ganguly had to resign as the chairperson of the West Bengal Human Rights Commission (WBHRC).
Ganguly had alleged that the Supreme Court was unfair to him in the case.
Law intern Stella James, who alleged that she was sexually harassed by Justice Ganguly, had earlier slammed him for claiming innocence.
In a statement posted on Journal of Indian Law and Society, Stella said: "I would like to state that I have acted with utmost responsibility throughout, keeping in mind the seriousness of this situation."
"Those who have been spreading rumours and politicizing the issue, are doing so out of prejudice and malice to obfuscate the issue and escape scrutiny and accountability."
