The cast also includes Priyanka Sharma, Barun Chanda and Kharaj Mukherjee amongst others.
Produced by Viacom 18, the movie boasts of well known names like Sanjoy Salil Chowdhury for music, Srijato Bandopadhyay for lyrics, Neeraj Pandey for story, screenplay & dialogue; editor Narayan Singh and others.
Although the story revolves around a happy family of Abhiroop (Abir), his wife Aparna (Priyanka), their son Sumit and their day-to-day chores, yet, it bears a significant message for men, especially the ones who find it difficult to raise their voices at the hour of need.
Abhiroop fails to protect his family and more worse, himself from the varied problems and nuisances of life.
His tolerance hits him hard one day when his colleague Nandini gets molested in front of him, when his tenant slaps him asking for the rent, and the all important file that he had prepared in the office goes missing bringing his promotion at stake and anything worse that could have ever happened to him.
It is at this juncture that he came across Anjan, his best friend through school and college who miraculously stands up for every wrong done to Abhiroop.
Aparna, the otherwise contended wife who only prays that her husband wasn't so naive, couldn't have craved for anything more.
Abhiroop eventually changes, but the change that she had always longed for actually tears her life apart.
"The movie ends with Abhiroop crowning his friend as the real 'Royal Bengal Tiger' but why so, is the mystery embedded in the plot," said Rajesh.
Commenting on the nomenclature of the film, Rajesh said, "The name bears the message that the animal instinct in man is always there, it's only when and how you discover it that changes your life."
Speaking on his shooting experiences with Priayanka, Jeet said that he happens to be a big fan of her.
"There are very few actors and directors whom I admire and Priyanka is definitely one of them. I simply love her acting skills" he added.
