RCB retains Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle

Bangalore, Jan 9 : Indian Premier League (IPL) side Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Thursday said it has retained cricketers Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle and ABdeVilliers for the seventh edition of the tournament.

The franchise named New Zealand spinner Daniel Vettori as the head coach and former South Africa paceman Allan Donald as the bowling coach.

"RCBians, make way for the terrific trio! We are happy to announce our retained players for IPL 7 - @imVkohli @henrygayle @ABdeVilliers17!"the franchise tweeted.

"Former RCB skipper Daniel Vettori comes on board as the Head Coach of RCB for #IPL7!The White Lightening strikes RCB! South African pace legend Allan Donald joins us as our new bowling coach. #IPL7," it said.

Australia's Trent Woodhill was named the team's batting and fielding coach.

West Indies batsman Chris Gayle tweeted: I'm Delighted to be back with @RCBTweets @TheVijayMallya @ABdeVilliers17 @imVkohli @IPL ."
