At least 16 people were killed Thursday and tens of others injured when a bomb exploded in Syria's province of Hama, media reported.

The blast targeted the town of Kafat in Hama, Xinhua cited the state-run SANA news agency as saying, adding that women and children were among those killed in the blast.
