Apia: Rohan, Aisam reach semis

Sydney, Jan 8 : Indian Tennis player Rohan Bopanna and his Pakistani doubles partner Aisam-ul-haq Qureshi defeated Treat Huey from Philippines and Britain's Dominic Inglot in the quarter-final clash of the ATP Apia International here on Wednesday.

The Indo-Pak pair qualified for the semi-finals by beating their opponents by 6-7(3) 7-6(5) 10-3 margin.

However, Leander Paes and his Czech partner Radek Stepanek lost their first round match against French pair of Julien Benneteau and Edouard Roger-Vasselin by 4-6, 4-6.

Bopanna and Aisam-ul-haq Qureshi will now face Lukas Rosol and Joao Sousa in the semi-finals.
