Shinde says a new Commission is being formed to investigate Adarsh Scam

New Delhi, Jan. 6 : Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde on Monday said that the Cabinet has decided to set up a commission to deal with the Adarsh Housing Scam and very clear and decisions will soon be made.

Speaking to newsmen, the Home Minister said:" Who said Adarsh scam won't be investigated? CBI is investigating it and so is the high court. All the negative publicity being given makes no sense and I would like to ask all the parties who have been continuously attacking us on this matter to prove whatever they are saying," he said.

Commenting on the alleged inefficiency of the Congress government in reducing the prices of water and electricity that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) did within two days, he said that doing that would require a lot of finance.

"AAP is a new party. There are a lot of financial issues involved in such matters and doing it is not that easy. It requires a lot of money," he said.

He further said that till the time the government does not start taxing more, there couldn't be a balanced development in such matters.
