Morrissey wants to end 20-year-old feud with David Bowie

Washington, Jan 4 : Morrissey has attempted to end a 20-year-old feud between him and iconic rocker David Bowie.

Morrissey has said that his catty remarks were merely "high ribbing" and even alleged that he had asked Bowie to duet with him on a version of 'You've Lost That Lovin Feelin' but he rejected the offer, Contactmusic reported.

The 54-year-old singer was enlisted as the main support act on Bowie's 1995 European tour but quit later blaming Bowie for trying to overshadow his performances.

Since then, he has made several remarks about Bowie, who also reportedly refused to allow permission for Morrissey to use a photograph of them together on a release last year.
