Coral to make Rs 5 cr investment

Kolkata, Jan 4 : Coral Soff'wares Ltd, one of the most dynamic IT product firms from Eastern India, is all set to build a mobile platform at an investment of approximately Rs 5 crore.

Announcing this here today, Coral Soff'wares Director Rajesh Kankaria said: "Innovation is the new age industrial revolution. We at Coral believe in innovating to break new grounds. It is with this intention that we have decided to create a mobile platform for SME sector."

Over the next 12 months Coral will set up a completely separate division to cater to this unit.

It is going to be R&D based, hi-tech sector which will dedicate itself in developing apps that are mobile friendly and easy to function.

The first app on the line will cater to the perennial problem faced by the SME in managing their work force.

This will not only help in streamlining work but also remove the in-built blocks that result in delays, miscommunication and fractured support.

"The project is expected to see daylight by the end of 2014. We hope to take it forward at a voracious pace as everyday is a new challenge wherein some new development is happening and Coral's philosophy is to stay a step ahead of the game," said Kankaria.
