I am not a weak PM: Manmohan Singh

New Delhi, Jan 3 : Prime Minister Manmonhan Singh Friday said that he was not a weak PM.

"I do not believe that I am a weak prime minister. That is is for the historians to judge," the prime minister said at a press conference here in reply to a question.

The main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party has often described Manmohan Singh as the weakest prime minister.

Manmohan Singh also hit out at BJP's prime ministerial Narendra Modi for the "massacre of innocents in Ahmedabad" in 2002.

Modi is the Gujarat chief minister and the riots took place when he was at the helm in the state.
