HMSI registers 36 pct growth in Dec

New Delhi, Jan 2 : Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) on Thursday reported 36 percent growth in sales at 2,96,144 units for December 2013.


The company said that while the scooter wing registered a growth of 54 percent, motorcycle growth was recorded as 18 percent.

The company also noted that HMSI's domestic market share is 24 percent while domestic plus export shares stand at 22 percent.

"Dream Neo sales cross 1 lac in 7 months. Honda launches its biggest ever engagement campaign Dream Neo Superstar Contest to celebrate overwhelming customer response," the company said in a statement.

The company has also tied up with Gramin Bank (Baroda Rajasthan Kshetriya Gramin Bank) announced in Rajasthan.
