Meryl Streep's 'August: Osage County' wins four awards at Capri Festival

Washington, Jan. 2 : Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts new film 'August: Osage County' was given a huge Oscars boost after it picked up four awards at the Capri, Hollywood Film Festival on Wednesday.


The movie adaptation of Tracy Letts' play about a dysfunctional family's reunion was named Film of the Year, while Streep picked up the Best Actress award and the movie cast won the Best Ensemble prize, Contactmusic reported.

Streep's co-star Chris Cooper picked up Lifetime Achievement Award at the festival.
