Seven killed in Maharashtra bus mishap

Nashik, Jan.2 ; At least seven persons were reported killed and several others injured after a bus in which they were travelling, fell into a valley on the Mumbai-Nashik highway on Thursday.


Television and other media reports said that the state transport bus fell into the valley at Malsej Ghat in Maharashtra after being rammed by a tempo.

There were 40-odd people travelling on the bus.

Rescue operations are underway at the accident site, but the geographical location is hampring the work. More details are awaited.
