V K Duggal sworn in as new governor of Manipur

Imphal, Jan.1 : Former union home secretary V K Duggal was sworn in as the new governor of Manipur on Tuesday.

The Chief Justice of the Manipur High Court, Laxmikant Mahapatra, administered the oath of office to Duggal at Raj Bhavan here.

Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh, his cabinet colleagues and senior civil and police officials attended the function.
