Delhi Education Minister to set up helpline for parents

New Delhi, Dec. 30 : Public works Development, Urban Development and Education development minister Manish Sisodia on Monday said that he will set up a helpline, which will be in direct contact with education ministry.

"People face many problems while getting nursery admissions for their children.

Where are they supposed to go for that? We will set up a helpline, which will be in direct contact with education ministry," said Sisodia.

"We will do it for only nursery admission right now. We will begin with this, and then proceed further," he said.

"Education is a work of nation building; it should never be inclined towards profit making. Schools are always opened by a trust, which means it is basically for social service," he added.

"Education is for the people; people are not for education. We will create a set up in next 15 days so that parents do not face any problems," he said.
