Actor Farooq Shaikh's body arrives from Dubai for last rites

Mumbai, Dec.30 : The body of late actor Farooq Shaikh arrived here late on Monday afternoon and was taken in an ambulance to his residence for people from all walks of life, including from the entertainment industry, to pay their last respects.

Actor Satish Shah, a close friend of Shaikh, was quoted by the media, as saying that people could pay their last respects between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., and thereafter, the last rites would be performed.

Sixty-five-year-old Shaikh died of heart attack on Friday night in Dubai, where had gone with his family for a holiday.

During his time in Bollywood, he acted in popular films like 'Garam Hava', 'Umrao Jaan', 'Chashme Badoor' and 'Shatranj Ke Khiladi'.
