"Running 102 fever since yesterday. Severe loose motions. Sad that i won't be able to attend office today," tweeted Kejriwal.
"It was so imp to attend office today. We had planned the water announcement. God, bahut galat time par bimaar kiya," he posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.
A day after he took over, Kejriwal on Sunday urged the people to give him a week or little more to settle down before he started delivering on promises.
"We just took over. Give us seven days or ten days," he told people at his first durbar with the common people who came calling to him with grievances.
"Give us some time to settle down," he said.
The people who visited his house in Ghaziabad with appeal are contractual employees of the Delhi Transport Corporation and a teachers' association among others.
Earlier on his first day as CM, hours after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Kejriwal took oath as the seventh chief minister of Delhi on Saturday, he transferred Chief of Delhi Jal Board Debashree Mukherjee.
He also shunted out eight other IAS officers.
The reason behind these transfers was speculated as that of massive corruption in the Delhi Jal Board.
Kejriwal himself retained Power, Home, Finance, Planning and Vigilance ministries.
