Chris Rogers likely to secure South Africa tour with Ashes century

Sydney, Dec. 30 : Australian opening batsman Chris Rogers is likely to get a ticket for South Africa tour with a match-winning century on his home MCG ground in the Ashes.

The selectors are unlikely to discard him yet following his innings of 61 and 116 in Australia's eight-wicket victory over England, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.

The remarkable thing about Rogers' century was that he outpaced David Warner during their opening stand of 64.
