Goa gets new party club in New Year

Panaji, Dec 28 : With New Year celebrations already underway in the coastal state of Goa including the annual Sunburn electronic dance music (EDM) festival and another EDM Viacom 18's Supersonic making its debut this year, Sunset Ashram, a sprawling 30,000 sq ft beach club located at the sun kissed sands of Ashwem, will be launched on Dec 31.


Sunset Ashram will commence early in the evening unlike regular clubs that open only post sunset, thus promoting the philosophy of a "Day club".

According to the club owner, as the sun goes down, the club will transorm from a serene ambiance to a high energy zone promising a night of fun, verve and liveliness.

It comprises of a beach side sheesha lounge, beach bar and grill, swimming pool, wooden deck, luxurious cabanas, wood fired pizza oven, multiple bars, and an indoor club section.

The club, situated off shore and covered with a canopy of trees can accommodate over 1000 people.

The coordinator said they are open to larger events as well as smaller and intimate parties at the venue

The food philosophy at Sunset Ashram is contemporary modern European with a Mediterranean influence. Their forte lies in grilled meats and fresh line caught sea food, served with flavored butters.

The Club includes four live grill stations along with an eclectic, devouring menu. The offering is kept fresh with weekly specials included in the same. The bar includes hand crafted signature cocktails, fresh juices and ingredients, cocktail pitchers served with an innovative twist.
