Veteran actor Farooq Sheikh dies of heart attack

New Delhi, Dec.28, : Veteran actor Farooq Sheikh, known for his roles in Sai Paranjpe's 'Chasme Baddoor' and Satyajit Ray's 'Shatranj Ke Khiladi', died late on Friday.


The 65 year old actor, who was in Dubai, had a sudden heart attack on Friday.

His last outing as an actor was in 'Club 60' and 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'. He was a known theatre personality, who had also hosted the popular T.V show 'Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai'.

Several Bollywood celebrities took to Twitter to mourn over his sudden death.
