Intex launches Aqua i4+ smartphone

Mumbai, Dec 27 : Phone maker Intex Technologies on Friday announced that it would add the Aqua i4+ to its growing range of Aqua smartphones.


The Aqua i4+ features a 5" FWVGA (854x480) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor, which is complemented by a 512MB RAM to handle the multitasking and gaming requirements of users.

With a 3G connectivity offering speedy data download of upto 7.2 Mbps, activities like streaming or watching movies, playing online games, downloading multimedia content and uploading videos on social media platforms will be a breeze.

Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Business Head - Mobile, Intex Technologies (I) Ltd. said, "Intex Aqua i4+ is yet another endeavour from Intex to meet the expectations of today's consumer in terms of design and performance. With its impressive specifications and features, Aqua i4+ promises to be a smart and powerful smartphone capable of providing smooth user-experience."

Equipped with Android Jelly Bean OS 4.2.2, the smartphone sports an 8MP camera with an auto-focus and flash at the back and a 1.3MP camera in the front to facilitate video calls. The phone comes with a 4GB internal memory and also has the option of 32GB expandable memory.

The phone is equipped with various connectivity options such as 3G, HSPA+, and Bluetooth 4.0 to provide uninterrupted browsing and an enhanced files transfer experience.

The 2000mAh battery offers a talk time of 6 hours and a standby time of 220 hours.

Available in Pearl Blue and Pearl White, Aqua i4+ is priced at INR 7600 and will be available across 40,000 plus retail outlets, more than 42 Intex Squares, several hypermarkets and leading e-commerce portals.
