As part of the technology, the ResQ collection of jackets comes equipped with a special transmitter.
"The product is of utmost utility in cases of emergencies like someone getting trapped during the snow avalanches, since the device sends signals to the rescue operation group. The USP of the device is that it will lasts for a lifetime and does not require any maintenance or batteries plus this light-weight device has the capacity to reach even over vast and dangerous situation. The device can help rescue a wanderer who might get stuck in the snow up to some 30 meters," the company said in a statement.
In order to keep away from harmful frostbites, Woodland has launched hi-tech 'Warm grip' shoes.
" These shoes are light-weight and are designed to generate active heating to the feet and keep the feet warm even when the temperature is as low as (minus) - 20oC. This technology empowers the users to adjust temperature to three comfort levels. It has a user-friendly control panel positioned on the outside of the shoe for easy access,"the company said.
Apart from the technology collection, Woodland has also launched a variety of its colorful collection for comfortable utility while going into the outdoors.
The collection has a host of functional jackets, skin-friendly yet warm sweatshirts, woolen wear as well as trendy high raised boots to keep you warm this winter.
